I
am so excited to do my first makeup review on my blog! I was sent the
Younique3D Fiber Lash Mascara by my friend Camille Pocock. I had been
intrigued by the product but at 29 dollars a pop, I was hesitant to buy
it. It comes in a sleek black case with two tubes of products: the
mascara/fiber sealer, and the fibers themselves.
The instructions go as follows:
Apply a light coat of your favorite mascara. Let dry
Apply the Moodstruck Mascara
Apply the Fibers
Coat your lashes again in the Moodstruck Mascara to seal the fibers in place
Brush off any stray fibers from your face
The
Product is pretty amazing. It makes my lashes noticeably longer,
thicker, and more dramatic. It doesn't really clump either, which is
incredible to me. The only thing I didn't like was that some of the
fibers would fall onto my cheek through out the day, though it was
pretty minor. I would press powder under my eye before application and
then the stray fibers would just brush off with a cotton round or
tissue. I am really impressed with this product. I don't think it is a
necessity, but it is a great addition to your makeup stash especially if
you have short, thin, or sparse lashes and are looking to pump them up.
I like to use it in particular for special occasions and for going out
at night! Overall, this mascara duo gets a thumbs up from me!

TIP:
If you deal with mascara smudging throughout the day, before you put on
mascara brush a little translucent powder onto your lashes. This soaks
up any oils or moisturizers on your lashes to keep mascara from sliding
off and volumizes your lashes!
