Pewter Silver Eyes- UD Naked 2 Palette
I am really sorry how blurry these pictures came out when I posted them! I am in the process of switching cameras...Hope you still enjoy. I really loved this look on my sister.
I used a makeup technique I call The "Sandwich' Effect. You put a darker color on the inner and outer part of the eye, connecting them through the crease, and use a lighter shimmery color in the center of the eye to really add depth and make them stand out. The model is my wonderful sister, Rosey :)
Eyes:
Tease on crease and blended onto lid
Pistol on inner and outer third of eye
Verve in middle of eye
Blackout to deepen outer third and crease
Mary Kay Jet Black gel liner on upper lash line
Pistol and Blackout blended on lower lash line
Foxy as highlight color on inner corner and brow bone
Benefit They're Real Mascara
Face:
Almay Under eye concealer in Light
MUFE HD Foundation in #117
Benefit Hello Flawless Powder in Champagne
Guerlain Terracotta Spray Bronzer
Origins blush in Rose Twinkle
Lips:
Maybelline Moisture Xtreme lipstick in Metallic Mauve

Eye Color Combos- Blue and Gold
This is a makeup look I did based on Marlena's "Indigo Nights" look.
I was so inspired by this makeup look- I love the color combination of blue and gold/bronze.
I used MAC Paint Pot in Painterly as well as a lot of the colors from the NYX Sexy Blue Eyes Palette. For the glitter on the center of the lid, I used Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Glitter in Gold.
The lip color combination is NARS Dolce Vita Lipstick and Hourglass lip gloss in Imagine; I am really loving these two lip products together :)
Here is a link to Marlena's amazing tutorial and website:

Back!
I am happy to say that my eyes have cleared up well and I will be back to blogging! These photos were taken on my iPhone at Nordstrom in Oakbrook IL. I had the opportunity to have my makeup done by professional makeup artist Chuck of Gurlain! This soft, pretty look is what I ended up basing my wedding makeup off of :) The two other women in the photos (who also had their makeup done by Chuck) are my mom. Janet, and my brother's girlfriend, Patti :)
It's good to be back!
